Congratulations to Thomas Wright for winning the Husker Faithful Guess The Score Contest for the Capital One Bowl. Thomas was three points off the final of 30-13, with a 27-13 guess. Erik Nelson was second, only four points off. Thank you to everyone who entered our Guess The Score Contest during the 2011 season. We'll be back again next season so look for our reminder emails.

How the contest works

Simply enter your guess for the final score of the next Husker football game along with your name and email address before kickoff of that week's game. A valid email is needed because each week's winner will be contacted via email. No entries will be allowed once the game begins. Only one entry per person and email address per game is allowed. If there is more than one entry by one person, we will use the first one entered and disregard the remainder. The winner of the contest must correctly choose the winning team and be closest to the actual final score.

Contest winners have their choice of either a Husker Faithful t-shirt or a $20 gift certificate to Surf & Turf in Lincoln, home of the freshest seafood and meats in town, flown in daily! Check out Surf & Turf's Facebook Page for more about what they have to offer.
